Plenary Meeting in Porto | 5-6 November 2025

A 2-day PHASE IV AI plenary meeting hosted by INESC TEC took place on 5th-6th of November in Porto. Consortium partners from industry, research, and healthcare gathered to review progress and plan the next phase of activities.

Day 1 was filled with inspiring discussions and valuable updates across the project’s key areas, setting a great tone for the rest of the meeting, including:
– Project progress and key updates from the project consortium
– WP2 | Requirements & Specifications
– WP3 | Data as a Service (DaaS): image de-identification, EHR integration, data synthesis for lung cancer, prostate cancer, and ischemic stroke, as well as data quality metrics and DaaS toolbox content
– WP5 | Health Data Hub developments
– WP7 | Interaction with stakeholders

A key topic of the day was the organization of the Exploitation Workshop aiming at exploring the long-term exploitation opportunities of the project ensuring that Phase IV AI innovations are positioned for real-world adoption and lasting value beyond the project lifetime.

Day 2 focused on key technical and strategic discussions, including:
– WP4 | Model as a Service (MaaS): Generic introduction, harmonization, multiparty computation, privacy-preserving federated learning, HEonGPU inference, privacy-preserving preprocessing, model validation, and MaaS Toolbox.
– WP6 | Validation & Use Cases: Technical validation and pilot evaluation.
– Technical Coordination: Reviewing current status and planning next steps.

The meeting concluded with final remarks and a shared commitment to continue driving innovation and collaboration across all work packages.
