Use Case 2 Validation & Evaluation Workshop on Prostate Cancer (Phase 1), 11 September 2025

The University of Turku hosted a PHASE IV AI workshop focused on Use Case 2: Prostate Cancer. The event brought together partners from Finland, Belgium, and the UK to review the project’s first pilot developments and gather feedback.

Discussions centered on data harmonization, synthetic data generation, and a federated learning demonstration, followed by an open exchange of ideas. The aim was to evaluate whether the project is on the right track, identify what might be missing, and understand what experts from different disciplines need for these tools to become truly valuable in practice.

Participants also helped to map key challenges and opportunities, with feedback collected both through structured online form and freeform discussion. This interactive evaluation marks an important step in refining PHASE IV AI technologies to better support clinical decision-making in prostate cancer care.
