Bridging the Gap: Privacy and Progress in Healthcare Data

Fujitsu Luxembourg, as partner of the Phase4AI-EUProject, is working to overcome the challenges of securely sharing healthcare data for better medical research and AI-driven healthcare. Privacy concerns, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act), and technical barriers often hinder progress in developing personalized medicine and AI tools.

To address this, the project focuses on synthetic data generation, allowing access to data that mirrors real patient data while ensuring privacy and meeting regulations. Fujitsu Luxembourg is also helping define security and privacy measures for the safe processing, storage, and sharing of healthcare data, navigating the complexities of GDPR and EU AI regulations.
