Successful Phase4AI-EUProject Workshop: User Requirements & Business Potential

On 7th February 2025, the Finnish partners of the Phase4AI-EUProject – Turun yliopisto – University of Turku, VTT, Turku University of Applied Sciences, and Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue – came together to host the Second Use Case Workshop, titled “User Requirements for Health Data – Business Potential,” in Espoo, Finland.

The workshop aimed to deepen our understanding of user requirements for the development of Phase4AI-EUProject services, with a particular focus on the business potential for the commercial exploitation of the Health Data Hub and other final project outcomes.

Key topics covered included:
– User Requirements for Health Data: Aligning the development of AI services with the needs of end-users in the health data space.
– Business Potential: Exploring the opportunities for commercializing the Health Data Hub and other project outcomes.

-European Health Data Space (EHDS): Delving into the new regulations around health data use and their impact on the project.
– Project Progress: Updates on federated learning and research on synthetic data, highlighting the innovative strides being made.

The workshop gathered a diverse group of stakeholders, including researchers, business representatives, and national authorities, with 20 attendees on-site and 5 participants joining online.
